Cotswolds Campaigns

Cotswold District Council recently helped the district establish the Cotswold Food Network and employ a Community Food Officer for 3 years to support emergency food provision across the district. The Cotswold Food Network is currently forming and are holding their first gathering – a workshop on Community Growing in November 2023 in Northleach.

A number of local Community Food Organisations are involved, including Cirencester Food Bank, Cirencester Pantry, The Long Table, and the North Cotswolds Food Bank.

Cotswold District forms part of the Cotswold National Landscape, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cotswold National Landscape have recently produced a report setting out a pathway to Net Zero and a series of Workshops are being held throughout October and November 2023.
