Feeding Gloucestershire is a founding member of the Gloucestershire Infrastructure Collaborative, a county-wide partnership working to strengthen communities, share resources, and drive lasting change across Gloucestershire.
Together with other Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations, alongside the NHS and Gloucestershire County Council, we’re helping build a stronger and more connected sector that can better support local people.
About the Project
The Gloucestershire Infrastructure Collaborative was established by NHS Gloucestershire’s Integrated Care Board to bring key organisations together to work as a true collective rather than individually.
By joining forces, we are ensuring that Gloucestershire’s VCSE sector has a stronger, united voice in shaping how vital health, wellbeing, and community services are developed and delivered.
How it Works
At the heart of the collaborative is a shared commitment to strengthening “VCSE infrastructure”—the behind-the-scenes support that enables local charities, community groups, and social enterprises to thrive.
The partnership focuses on four main areas:
- Connection: Linking organisations, communities, and health system partners to create a more joined-up network.
- Grassroots Support: Making it easier for small, grassroots groups to access information, skills, and resources.
- A Shared Voice: Representing and amplifying the voices of people with lived experience in wider county strategies.
- Long-Term Growth: Building strong foundations so the local voluntary sector can grow and support people to live healthier, more connected lives.
