The Feeding Gloucestershire Team

Joanna Scott
Programme Director
Joanna leads Feeding Gloucestershire’s work as Programme Director. She holds a master’s degree in human nutrition and brings extensive experience across food, nutrition and wellbeing, having worked in both global food businesses and the VCSE sector at national and local levels.
She has previously acted as Non-Executive Director for Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust and, more recently, worked with the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance to support Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Transformation Programme in adult community mental health. Joanna lives in the Stroud area and enjoys country and coastal walks with Dylan her cockapoo and relaxing using different forms of art expression.

Rebecca Hollely
Project Officer
Rebecca is Feeding Gloucestershire’s Project Officer. With a background in communications, events and engagement, she has worked on environmental and sustainability projects both in the UK and internationally. She is passionate about tackling inequality and promoting wellbeing through food.
In her role, Rebecca works alongside partners and communities to help build a fairer, more sustainable food system across the county. She is based in Dursley, and enjoys exploring Gloucestershire’s green spaces in her spare time.
Our Board of Trustees
Our Board is made up of volunteers from across the county who share a deep commitment to our mission. They bring together a wealth of experience from the VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise), public and private sectors to provide strategic oversight and guide our long-term direction.

Sarah Avery
Chair of Trustees
Sarah has dedicated 20 years to the charity sector.
In response to the Covid pandemic she set up the award winning #FeedCheltenham and continues to support local communities through her own venture, “Be a Good Neighbour”. She is motivated by the tangible, positive impact coordinated action can have on food poverty in our county.

Helen Hutchings
Trustee
After qualifying as a solicitor at a Cheltenham firm in 2006, Helen spent much of her early career working in the IT and financial services sector in London.
Since returning to Gloucestershire with her husband and two young children in 2021, she has been eager to apply her professional expertise to help shape the charity’s future and support the local community in which she is raising her family.

Kelly Osborne
Trustee
Kelly has 15 years of experience working with local authorities and charities. Her work focuses on minimising food waste, growing projects and the interplay between climate change and local food.
She lives in Stroud and spends her time experimenting with new recipes and enjoying the outdoors.

Vicky Wheeler
Trustee
Vicky moved to Gloucestershire in 2005 while studying for her MSc in Food Policy. Her professional career has focused on programme and project management within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, bringing valuable experience in governance, strategic delivery and cross-sector collaboration to the board.
She is passionate about food equality and its impact on health, and is deeply committed to supporting the charity’s work to improve access to nutritious food and reduce health inequalities across the local community. In her spare time, Vicky enjoys yoga, cooking and walking her dog.

Dylan
Head of Team Happiness
Dylan is an enthusiastic cockapoo who specialises in boosting team morale. He enjoys long walks with Joanna and isn’t shy about reminding her when they’re running late for one.
He regularly joins Joanna in meetings across the county, where he enjoys meeting new people, especially if biscuits are involved.

Chonky
Head of Snacks
Chonky is a devoted corgi who spends her 9-5 guarding the front of the house from her windowsill perch, so her human Rebecca can work in peace.
Her ideal working day involves a lunch break at her local field, where she can chase a ball and snuffle through long grass. She takes her role as snack coordinator very seriously and ensures that no biscuit tin goes ignored.
